FJA’s Executive Director, Mr. Jess, a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated lawyer, also serves as an FJA lobbyist. Prior to joining the FJA staff in 1988, he practiced law with the firm of Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, concentrating in commercial litigation.
Mr. Jess also served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy and, until his retirement in 2003 at the rank of Captain, served as the Reserve Intelligence Area Commander for Florida. Mr. Jess earned his J.D. from the FSU College of Law with High Honors and received his B.S.S.W. from The Ohio State University.

Tiffany M. Faddis, an attorney with Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys in Orlando, Florida, helps clients address Personal Injury – General: Plaintiff situations. She received legal training from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. She graduated from law school in 2002.
Tiffany Faddis became licensed to practice law in 2003. Tiffany Faddis was selected to Rising Stars. The designation means that she is a top-rated attorney as recognized by peers. She was selected to Rising Stars for 2012 – 2015.

Leslie M. Kroeger is a Partner at Cohen Milstein and Co-Chair of the firm’s Complex Tort Litigation practice group. She focuses on complex, high-profile product liability, wrongful death, and managed care abuse litigation.
Ms. Kroeger is a highly accomplished trial attorney who began her legal career in the courtroom as an Assistant Public Defender for the 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida and later became an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida. She then moved into private practice where she continues to handle a variety of complex civil litigation before state and federal courts in Florida and nationwide.

Wayne Hogan, a Jacksonville native, has been with the firm since 1977. He graduated from Florida State University, where he received both his bachelor’s and J.D. degrees. He specializes in all areas of personal injury law. In addition to participating in many professional associations, he and his wife, Pat, are also actively involved in the community.
Since 1992 Wayne has supported and partnered with the FSU College of Law to grow The Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program. This program brings to campus undergraduate students from Florida and throughout the country for a month-long law school immersion. The largest and oldest of its kind, the primary goal of the program is to acquaint students with the study of law and to help prepare them for their undergraduate and future law school studies.
The FJA Research and Education Foundation is designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization to which tax-deductible contributions may be made, as provided by law.
