Our Foundation initiatives require a great deal of expertise, time, and attention. We rely extensively on many FJA members who volunteer their time and talent to our programs. They help ensure that our research is on target, our educational programs are relevant, and our outreach is effective.
John Romano | Chair
John has accepted the invitation to serve as Chair for the Endowment Trust for Justice campaign, initiated by the FJA Research and Education Foundation.
An experienced Board-Certified trial attorney, John is well-known for his senior-level involvement with his chosen profession. In addition to his extensive trial experience and his leadership at the Romano Law Group, John has served as president for a number of professional associations related to the trial attorney specialty, has authored three books, and continues to provide valuable content and editorial expertise for new publications.
As a former member of the US Marine Corps, John Romano understands teamwork. He noted, “The Endowment Trust is a highly-focused resource development campaign. We will enlist both estate (planned) gifts and current commitments to ensure we can move the research and education agenda forward each year.”
In accepting the assignment as the Endowment Trust campaign chair, John told the Foundation Board: “I am honored to accept this challenge. Through our own FJA Research and Education Foundation, we have access to outstanding educational opportunities. We work hard to attract the best and brightest new attorneys into our specialty. We get access to independent, objective research that helps educate both decision-makers and the public about how particular actions and outcomes have an impact upon Floridians.”
