I am not able to register on the FJA website. Can you help me?
If you are having difficulty registering on the website, first be sure you that are logged into your account. Registration options and pricing will only display for those who are logged in and verified as eligible to register. If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact the CLE Department at 850-521-1097. We are able to process registrations over the phone.
Why is my CLE Seminar Attendance not showing up with The Florida Bar?
The Florida Bar asks attorneys to self-report their CLE hours. Please input the CLE Course number given to you by the FJA (usually located in your course materials) and record it in the CLE area of your Member log-in area of The Florida Bar website. If you need a course number, please call or email the CLE Department.
How do I account for the CLE hours with The Florida Bar for a seminar I watched live or through an FJA audio format?
When reporting education hours with The Florida Bar, if you attend or watch an entire FJA program you would be eligible to record the approved credit hours as indicated on the course credit sheet (usually located in your course materials). If you attend or watch a portion of a program, every 50 minutes of instructional time equals one credit hour. If you need assistance or have questions about determining credit hours, please call or email the CLE Department.
I am a Paralegal and I need a course number from a seminar/webinar I attended with the FJA
If you attended a seminar/webinar that was also available to attorneys, then a course number was given to the FJA by The Florida Bar and was provided as part of the course materials. If you need a course number, please call or email the CLE Department.
However, if it was a seminar/webinar just for paralegals, the course was approved by NALA who provides the FJA with the number of CLE Credit hours but not a course number.
I was a speaker for FJA. Can I get CLE Credit?
Yes, you can. Simply download a Lecture Credit Form from The Florida Bar website for submission.
My CLE credit is due at the end of the month. Can you help me?
Yes. If you need CLE credits quickly, the best solution would be to purchase an audio product from our selection of programs. FJA offers three audio product formats, but online streaming gives you immediate access to a program recording and related materials. A document with a breakdown of available program and credit hours for each seminar can be used to guide your purchase selections. If you have questions or need assistance, please call or email the CLE Department.
I want to order an audio product. What is the difference between an MP3 Audio CD, USB and Online Streaming?
An MP3 Audio CD is just like a CD you would listen to from a musician. If you travel frequently, this might be a good option for you for listening in the car (not guaranteed to work with all stereo systems) or transferring to a mobile device. The MP3 Audio CD also comes with a CD-ROM of seminar materials. A USB (also known as a jump/thumb drive) of our seminar contains materials and video recordings of the seminar. Online streaming is available through your FJA CLE Online Classroom for members who want to view seminar content as soon as possible wherever an Internet connection is available.
Your audio and video products come with electronic materials. Can I get a printed book instead?
FJA usually only provides materials electronically. The exception might be for programs such as our Workhorse Seminar. Availability of a printed book for Workhorse is determined for each program; this option is offered upon registration when/if applicable.
